The Look a like meters

So I found this website that tells us who looks more like who. Well Trent looks more like me by 5% and Calla looks more like Brian by 4% but honestly I just think that confirms that they look like each other and they are both a good mix of the two of us. When you are pregnant and wondering what your child will look like and who's features they will have you always want the best of each parent. I totally feel like we got our wish and God answered our prayers. We will see what they look like as they get older but I feel we got two great looking kids!

Weekend with Grampa Steve and Calla's Baptism

After Calla's baptism in front of the stained glass window at our church that has Calla lillies in it. I like to call it "her" stained glass window even though it's been there long before she arrived.
Miss Calla in her baptism dress, I ordered it especially for the day and it even has her monogram on it.
Trent and I swimming in the pool at the hotel where Grandpa Steve and Grandma Anne stayed. He had such a blast all weekend hanging out with them.
Calla getting ready to go swimming for the first time. She seemed to really enjoy it and liked wearing her brand new swimsuit!

American Red Cross Luau 08

This is Brian and I at this years American Red Cross Luau. We have it every year to raise money for our local programs including disaster services. Generally, Bry and I hardly get to see each other at the event because I'm off working and taking care of all the little details but at one point we were actually standing together so my assistant snapped this picture of us. It was a nice night out without the kids even though I kept calling my sister to find out how they were doing. The band was good, the food was good and the hotel we had it at even gave me a free room so we ended up picking up the kids after it was over and going back to the hotel to stay.
This is me and our executive director with three of our board members. The Clinton Herald has a "Where was Herald?" section and so we thought it would be fun to take this picture for that. Obviously I did not go as crazy on the costume thing as some people but "Lola" aka Dave sure did have fun. (He's the one next to me in the red thing) We made some really good money off this event that will really help out with continuing the work that we do in our community.
